for the May 2013 Philadelphia Reading Olympics
is now closed.
Please review the FAQ section for additional registration information.
Once you have submitted your registration you will receive an email notification that your registration has been received. You will then receive a contract via email attachment requiring the team(s) coach’s signature and the school/organization administrator’s signature. When we receive the signed contract we will email you a confirmation.
You are NOT officially registered until we receive the signed contract.
Please read the statement below carefully before you register.
As a Reading Olympics Coach, I understand and agree to follow all of the rules and regulations of the Philadelphia Reading Olympics. I understand that I am responsible for:
➢ Ensuring that the team has access to all of the books on the book list.
➢Arranging for transportation and accompanying my team to the competition site to supervise the team participants.
➢ Conducting team meetings with a focus on the goals of the Philadelphia Reading Olympics: to encourage reading for pleasure and to promote cooperation through teamwork.
➢ NOTIFYING THE READING OLYMPICS SITE COORDINATOR IMMEDIATELY IF, FOR ANY REASON, MY TEAM HAS TO WITHDRAW FROM THE COMPETITION.
Failure to do so will jeopardize participation in future Philadelphia Reading Olympics.
Philadelphia Reading Olympics On-line Registration will open November 5, 2012.
